Dating from 1867 Grosvenor Park covers over sixteen acres.  The park has many features to see during your visit.

Amongst the many statues and building you will find a statue of the Richard, the second Marquis of Westminster who awarded Grosvenor Park to the city of Chester. The statue was sculpted by Thomas Thornycroft.

Buildings in the park include the old Shipgate, the Grosvenor Park Lodge, Billy Hobby’s Well.

Statues displayed in the park are of William the Conqueror, Hugh Lupus- ‘The Wolf’, Richard, Randle, Randle II, Hugh II, Ranulph, John the Scot.

You can walk through the typically Victorian avenues of Lime and Holly trees, planted as part of the initial development of the park, and wander through ornamental displays of flowers and shrubs which surrounded the impressive lawn areas.

Built during the 1950s the park also has a water feature with rockery, waterfall and fountains. These were set up to take their water from the River Dee which they overlook. They are currently waiting for regeneration.

Grosvenor Park is popular with tourists and locals alike and is the venue of many popular events throughout the summer months.

The last time Dark Energy Pro hosted a night at the FROG the night turned out to be a real success!! For those who were not there, we hosted STE.3.P.O BDAY BASH which brought SUBZOFO and DECIBELLE, LEEROY THEORY, DJ TOTAL and many more!!!

This time aroud we intend to go one step further by presenting to you

LIVING DNB LEGEND RIVMIC from Shropshire will be looking to smash the Frog to its foundations!! THIS WILL BE A SET NOT TO BE MISSED!!

The TELFORD CREW will be performing for the first time at a D.E.P event. DOMINATRIX, EXACT, RAPID and LOGIC young and talented DNB crew will be right up for this one!! THIS GOING TO BE ONE SICK SET!!

D.E.P members FIL DEVIOUS and PAULIO will be back at the Frog!! These 2 are no strangers and take no prisoners!! watch out as they hit the dance floor with a HARD TECHNO set!!!
