Plumbers need to take green energy courses because of the increasing investment in low carbon technologies, stated the chief executive of SummitSkills.

Keith Marshall said that future jobs and employment in the plumbing and heating sector depend on the ability of businesses and employers to develop the green energy skills to deal with the task of fitting environmental technologies.

During the recession many plumbing businesses that trained their staff through green energy courses to work in environmental technologies have seen considerable growth, claims Mr Marshall.

Green energy courses will benefit people who have completed plumbing courses as it will provide abilities to add to the existing sector skills set and job functions in the plumbing industry.

Mr Marshall said that people who have passed plumbing courses will “simply up-skill” through the additional training of green energy courses by learning the knowledge of how to install environmental appliances.

Plumbers who have completed green energy courses will have the competitive edge over others whether it is in relation to securing a new business opportunity or finding a job.

Mr Marshall said that it is the priority of SummitSkills to highlight the importance of green energy courses and they are actively encouraging employees and bosses to ensure that the right training is undertaken.

The Budget in March outlined the intention of the United Kingdom to become a world leader in low carbon industries as well as a £2 billion investment bank to back low carbon initiatives.

SummitSkills has secured approval to build a National Skills Academy (NSA) which will help businesses through green energy courses.

The NSA will focus on developing design skills, product knowledge, commissioning and maintenance, and innovation so that plumbers are more confident when it comes to installing eco-friendly appliances.

Short green energy courses can initially help people get a grip on the important factors to consider, learn more about the new technologies and make right decisions, according to Keith Marshall.

He said: “This Building Services Engineering (BSE) Green Skills Academy will play a key role in ensuring that this skills capability is developed and that the BSE sector can become more proactive in promoting the green agenda to consumers and acting as a trailblazer for green skills.”

The British Electrotechnical and Allied Manufacturers Association has offered full support to the recommendation that government should work in partnership with the electrotechnical industry on smart meters and a smarter energy network.

Lastly a professional DJ company will have some sort of a service contract that needs to be agreed upon before money is paid. The purpose of the contract is to protect the rights of both parties, and is an essential for any professional company. In the case of our sports club, they paid a deposit without a service contract and subsequently lost that deposit as well as any other money that the spent on the disastrous event.

In conclusion, the above scenario can and should be avoided at all costs. There is a basic rule of thumb when dealing with any service provider including DJ hire companies – always do your due dilligence and contact some previous clients of the prospective company. Conservatories Wanted by New Build Homebuyers

New build home buyers have said that they would be interested in adding a conservatory to their property.

Research by Glevum conservatories revealed that 23 per cent of people said that they were attracted to the option of building a conservatory onto a new build home while it was still in construction.

The figure increased to 80 per cent when the survey respondents were told that conservatories are VAT exempt on new homes, which could result in a saving of £2000 or more compared to buying one after the property is completed.

Glevum Conservatories business development director David Simpson said that more should be done to alert new build buyers to the VAT saving as this could generate increased interest in bespoke conservatories.

“It is astonishing that house builders are not promoting this financial saving to their customers, particularly as this survey indicates the level of demand which exists,” Mr Simpson added.

The survey also found that a third of respondents would be keener to buy a new home if they were offered the chance of having a conservatory, with 38 per cent claiming they would actively find a house builder who offered optional extras.

Most people saw conservatories as a space to spend time with loved ones as 77 per cent said they would use a conservatory to relax in and entertain family and friends.

Converting conservatories into structures like orangeries was less popular with respondents as just one per cent said they would use the space for growing vines, peaches and other tender plants favoured by the Victorians.

An increasing number of people are planning to use their conservatory as a more productive space as more are opting to utilise the structure as an office or a permanent dining room.

Interior design options were popular with respondents as over 40 per cent wanted ceramic floor tiles and 38 per cent required blinds for their bespoke conservatories in order to reduce glare and improve insulation.

“Homebuyers on new estates are far more interested in using their garden space for leisure activities, and this survey reveals that a conservatory plays a big part in this. It seems that the patio set, the gas barbeque and the all-weather conservatory are the essentials of the modern British summer,” added Mr Simpson.

Aviva are advising people with bespoke conservatories to take out insurance this summer as broken windows are more common during the football world cup as people try to emulate their favourite players.

It is not actually that a person’s disability claim is not believable enough or substantial enough that causes denied applications for the Social Security Disability or the Supplemental Security Income benefits. If Your Case Gets Denied

If you have been injured or become ill and are no longer able to work, you have certain Social Security Disability Benefits. Social Security Disability is a benefit received from the Social Security Administration by disabled workers and in some cases their dependents, similar to those received by retired workers. And you will have to file your case.

Sheri Abrams states the statutes for one to be qualified to file for Social Security Disability Benefits:

“To receive benefits under the Social Security Disability program, you must have a physical or mental health problem (or a combination of problems) severe enough to keep you from working in any regular paying job for at least one year or result in death. The test isn’t whether or not you are able to go back to your old job, and the test isn’t whether or not you have been able to find a job lately. Rather, the test is whether you are capable of doing any job available in the national economy (even if this job involves different skills or pays less than your previous work.) By using an extensive set of regulations, the Social Security Administration takes into account your medical condition, your age, your abilities, your training and your work experience in deciding your case.”

It is most regrettable that most of the claims for security disability and benefits are denied. In fact, 60-70% of the claims are denied while it booms to 80-85% at the Reconsideration level. In truth, a claim that is denied once will have to go to a hearing before an Administrative Law Judge before it is approved.

Denial of claims can be attributed to stringent requirements set. Severity of the illness or injury is the key and a doctor’s report indicating that the claimant can still perform “light” or “sedentary” work may be cause for benefits to be declined. For this reason, a big 60% of initial Social Security disability claims are denied.

With this is mind, claimants are to make an appeal if their petitions are turned down. Make a quick consultation with the local social security office and make a request for a plea of your case within sixty days upon receipt of letter denying request.

Social Security disability payments are the right of a person who has paid into the system and who is experiencing a long-term illness or disabling injury. The process is not simple but the benefits can be substantial.

Multiple Social Security Beneficiaries

Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is a federal program run by Social Security Administration that gives a monthly income to people with disabilities, blind, or who are 65 or older with limited income and property. Recipients must be a U.S. citizen or a national with countable income below the federal benefit rate or FBR.

Recipients are grouped into children (age 17 and younger), working age (ages 18 to 64), and elderly (age 65 and older). Different policy issues and rules apply to various age groups. There are disability screens for children and working-age applicants while elderly must pass the income and asset screens to qualify regardless of whether they are disabled.

This program does not limit the number of recipients living in the same house. There are three types of households: one-recipient households, households with two married SSI recipients and no other recipients, and households with multiple recipients other than married couple recipients, also known as the noncouple multirecipient (NCM) households. Different economies of scale arise from these categories.

Two different surveys about SSI recipients were conducted by the SIPP or the Survey of Income and Program Participation and Social Security Administration. Both have the same analysis and records indicating that one out of five SSI recipients live with one, or more, SSI recipient who is not a spouse. Nonmarried-couple recipients living in the same household is guaranteed the full individual federal benefit rate while married couple recipients are guaranteed with 150 percent of the FBR for individuals. This means that relationships between SSI members and other members of the household do not affect benefit payments unless they are married couples living in the same household. Children are most likely to live in an NMC household.

Current program rules concerning NCMs assesses the sensitivity of distributional outcomes to the unit of observation, the timeframe of income measurement, and the scale used to measure poverty. Assumption imbedded in the SSI benefit formula drives the lower prevalence of poverty among NMCs as compared with married couples. Poverty is more prevalent in individuals who do not live with another SSI recipient than the NCMs or married couples. Individual SSI recipients living alone have high prevalence of poverty. Poverty is reduced among recipients living with nonrecipients because of the total income received by the household.

Economies of scale result from family or household size, marital status, and other factors. In measuring the effects of SSI program rules on poverty among SSI recipients, it is appropriate to use either the federal or the three-parameter poverty yardstick.

I’ve taken some time and researched some of the most popular product to try to find the answers for you. The truth is, most products won’t help you lose anything but money. There are a few, however, with some research behind them that prove that they actually work.

What are these supplements that work? It seems that only four products hold the best promise for those of us who want to slim down. They are Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA), Hydroxycitic Acid (HCA), phaseolomine, and possibly 5-HTP.

1. Conjugated Linoleic Acid, CLA, has a number of research studies behind it. It is a fatty acid that has been found to reduce cancer risks, body fat and to increase lean muscle tissue. The Journal of Nutrition reported a Scandanavian Research team found CLA to increase the lean body mass of humans and also to decrease the fat mass. Subjects also had lower blodd fat and cholestrol after taking CLA. CLA does occur naturally in meat and dairy products, but the levels are pretty low. Also, if you’re following a healthy low-fat diet, you tend to not get as much meat and dairy, so supplementation may be the answer for getting a healthy dose of CLA.

2. Hydroxycitic Acid, HCA, is derived from a fruit, Garcinia cambogia or Malabar tamarind. It seems to work by inhibiting an enzyme that converts carbohydrates to fat. It also seems to suppress the appetite. Studies on humans have had mixed results with one study showing significant weight loss in participants. Another study using a high fiber diet, showed HCA had no effect on weight loss. Critics think the high fiber diet prevented absorbtion of the HCA. So, if you’re on a high fiber diet, HCA may not be for you.

3. Phaseolomine is derived from the white kidney bean. It works by reducing your body’s absorbtion of starchy carbohydrates. Since you absorb fewer calories, you lose weight. Seems like this supplement would be great to take if you knew you were going to indulge. Research has also shown that you burn more fat while taking phaseolomine. Subjects in one study lost 10% of their body fat in 30 days. Phaseolomine is typically found in carb blocker products.

4. 5HTP works by increasing the level of Serotonin in the brain resulting in more stable emotions, better sleep and weight loss. I take 5HTP myself and have found it to be an excellent appetite suppresant as well as a mild mood booster. In one study where women were given either a placebo or 5HTP and a 1200 calorie diet, those who took the placebo lost 2.28 pounds and those who took 5HTP lost 10.34 pounds. This was accomplished in 6 weeks. Are there other supplements that work? There may be others that will stand the test of time and research, but for now these are the best non-prescription supplements I’ve found to enhance your weight loss efforts. New Class of Drugs Brings Hope to Cancer Patients

(ARA) – This is an exciting time in cancer research. Recent information on angiogenesis — the growth of new blood vessels — is providing researchers opportunities to find new ways to slow or stop a tumor’s growth by cutting off the blood supply it needs.

Angiogenesis performs a critical role in the development of cancer. To grow, solid tumors need oxygen and nutrients provided by new blood vessels. Once a vascular network has been generated, cancer cells can also invade the rest of the body, a process called metastasis. Currently, researchers believe that more than 90 percent of all cancer cases are angiogenesis-dependent.

The good news is that a novel class of drugs, which acts as angiogenesis inhibitors, shows great potential in fighting more than 20 different diseases, including many types of cancer.

These “anti-angiogenesis” drugs being developed and tested block the formation of new blood vessels, starving cancerous cells and stopping tumor growth. One drug being tested, Neovastat, was discovered in 1994 and is derived from cartilage tissue. Neovastat is the only angiogenesis inhibitor being developed in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical universe that has four mechanisms of action to combat blood vessel growth. Furthermore, Neovastat is taken orally, making it convenient for patients who need long-term treatment, and it has shown minimal side effects in clinical trials. This means that unlike standard chemotherapy, Neovastat is not likely to interfere with a patient’s immune system, or cause adverse gastrointestinal symptoms or hair loss.

In addition, because most cancer cells are genetically unstable and more prone to mutations, resistance is a major problem with many chemotherapy agents. But since anti-angiogenesis drugs target normal endothelial cells that are not genetically unstable, drug resistance is less likely to develop and has not been a problem so far in clinical trials.

Another hope is that angiogenesis inhibitors can be used in combination with therapies that directly target tumor cells. Because anti-angiogenic drugs and chemotherapy are aimed at different cellular targets, it is possible that the combination will prove even more effective than either therapy is as a stand-alone.

Currently, Neovastat is the subject of three clinical trials, targeting three forms of cancer for which there are urgent needs for new therapies. For multiple myeloma, the second most common form of blood cancer, the drug is in phase two trials with 125 patients in the United States, Canada and Europe. This trial should be completed by the end of 2002. For progressive renal cell carcinoma, the drug is in phase three trials with 280 patients in the United States, Canada and Europe, which should be completed in early 2003. For non-small cell lung cancer, Neovastat is in a phase three trial sponsored by the National Cancer Institute with 760 patients in the United States and Canada. This trial should be completed in 2005.

Once the clinical trials are complete, health authorities in various countries can then assess test results and make decisions on approval.

Neverland Chronicle

Michael Jackson is one of the most recognized persons on the planet today. Even though he has not had a hit album in over a decade, Michael has continued to find his way into the media one way or another. From his rumoured problems with plastic surgery, to his association with monkeys, everyone has heard about how strange a character Michael has become. Aside from the black community that have continued to support him, despite his so-called skin condition and aversion to direct sunlight, most of the media has made “Jacko” a target of vicious headlines and articles.

Today, lawyers must pick a jury of 12 from a pool of 250 potential candidates after the judge said that they had screened enough of the 750 total people that were asked to the courtroom. Of that amount, about 450 people were screened prior to the judge decided that 1 and 1/2 days were enough.

To pick the 12, one must realize that it is humanly impossible not to already be predisposed to believe these charges against Michael Jackson. One must also realize that the motivation to lie in order to capitalize on subsequent book and interview deals would be enormous. Mainstream media were flooded with accusations of child molestation on the part of Michael Jackson for well over a decade. In recent history, both Bashir’s unauthorized account of Michael’s actions, and the subsequent side stories that have been carried as a result, every person in America has either watched, or been spoken to concerning his alleged conduct. Most recently, there was a leak to the Internet about what the “questionable material” was reported to be found in the Neverland estate. The article suggested that the material was in fact nude images of young boys, as well as magazine articles and DVD’s featuring more nude images. Michael has responded to saying that this was false, and wants to be given his day in court to prove the truth.

I for one am waiting for this to happen. Sooner rather than later. I have been a big MJ fan for 18 years. I used to imitate his moves and dances in a comedic fashion for my younger sister, and have purchased every album I could, including his anthologies. I loved the fact that he broke away from convential behaviour and did what he wanted to do. If he truly were white, he would have been considered as eccentric. Being a pedophile however, is way to serious a charge to ignore. This is a man that placed himself in a major position of influence over children. If the evidence truly shows him guilty, I will be the first to lead the charge for castration. That being said, until Michael has a chance to defend himself, we should support him, or at least not condemn him. Michael has done a lot, not just for the black community, but also for children of all nationality. He has given hope and love to sick and dying children, and must be afforded the opportunity to rebut the accusations once and for all.

Let’s be honest, the jury will decide his fate in the court of law. However, the information that comes out of this trial and made available to the public will hold him accountable to another jury: Public Opinion. Especially after O.J, I do not believe that the American court system will allow for a repeat of another high-profile case to go against public opinion. Too much is at stake. America is at war to protect freedom and democracy, or so they so. The recent election shows that America is truly at war in order to push what they perceive are Christian values. If there is any chance that Michael is innocent, despite what the public will believe to be evidence to the contrary, you can bet what you want on some kind of interference, either for the verdict, or a subsequent secondary charge with a guarantee of jail time.

Bottom line, Michael Jackson will be up against an opportunistic jury, the mainstream media, and a sceptical public. I wish him the best of luck.

The Asbestos Disaster – Who Is To Blame

The ancient Greeks, Romans and Egyptians were all aware of the health dangers of asbestos. It seems strange that the asbestos industry in many parts of the world chose to ignore the risks.

Even if the ancient wisdom had been lost, insurance companies were refusing to insure asbestos workers, or charging higher premiums for them by the 1920′s. 50 Years later some companies in the asbestos industry were still doing nothing to protect their workers.

To be fair, the workers themselves had the same access to information as the companies, so must also take responsibility for their actions in deciding to work in a dangerous industry. In many respects that decision was similar to the decision that many people still take on a daily basis today – to smoke a cigarette. The apparent benefit of taking home a pay check overrode the distant possibility of death for those workers and their families, just as the immediate pleasure of a cigarette does for smokers today.

Having said that, I believe that the employers have a duty to ensure that their workers are in as safe an environment as possible, and that they are aware of the risks, so that if they decide to work there, they are making an informed decision. Clearly this did not always happen, and as a result the industry is going through a series of lawsuits, where people who have become ill are suing for compensation. Many companies around the world have already gone bankrupt as a result of this, and the process appears to be continuing. In the US there is legislation proposed to pay compensation from a central fund, but this proposal seems unlikely to succeed because of the level of agreement that will be required on how the money in the fund will be collected.

Both workers and employers in all types of business would do well to reflect on this sorry saga where no-one with the possible exception of a few lawyers, will ever feel that the decision to either work in, or employ people in a dangerous environment, was justified.

What To Do When You Get Into An Accident

Accidents are unexpected occurrences in life. These are traumatic events that nobody wants to encounter. Because of the shock an accident causes, people tend to lose their ability to think correctly resulting to serious injuries, even death, to himself or to another party.

How can we overcome shock during or after an accident? Presence of mind is very vital in situations like this.

There are several kinds of accidents. Examples are vehicular accidents, industrial accidents and aerial accidents. Different accidents need different approach.

Car accident is an example of vehicular accidents, which claimed millions of lives and caused many people to suffer. Damages a car accident can cause include disability, emotional distress and permanent disfigurement. A lot of victims endure from injuries such as broken bone injuries, scar injuries, head and neck injuries, and nerve damage.

We cannot do much during an accident because it happens so fast that we are not able to control it. What is important is that we have to learn how we should behave after the incident and what actions we have to take. It will be hard for an injured person to think of the people or things around him. His only concern is the pain that he is feeling. In situations wherein you are still able to talk, walk and move without difficulty, you might as well do the following steps.

Ask or know the names, addresses and telephone numbers of the individuals involved in an accident. Car owners involved must secure car insurance. If there are witnesses in the area, ask for their names, addresses, and telephone numbers, too. Assist the police with the investigation, be cooperative. Take note of important visual information, like scratches and marks on the car and the weather condition. If you do not have pen or any writing materials, review the scene in your mind so that you can remember it. You have to tell the police exactly what happened. Take pictures of the cars involved in the accident. The picture must tell a detailed story. If you feel any pain or discomfort after the accident, consult a physician right away, or else it will raise questions whether the injury was caused by the accident or not. Consult an attorney before filling out any documents or giving your statement. Photograph wounds that heal quickly, you might need it during a case hearing or investigation. You might also need a lawyer to assist you in filling important papers, assist in court proceedings, and getting your claims.

It was so pleasantly for the person that when the volume of pleasure decreased he wants repeat it at any cost. He would be desirable to think of loved to meet him. And even it is easier to dream about love at times than to have it in reality. It’s already love dependence which needs to be treated.

- Sometimes patients confuse dependence on love with sexual affection and ask to reduce a tiresome inclination of the partner. Someone complains that cannot fall in love. Then we try to relieve from dislike.

Three ways to get rid of love:

1. Organize your schedule such a way that not a minute remains for love dreams.

2. Avoid places and people causing painful memoirs. Though it’s difficult try to remember only bad about beloved.

3. Take a paper. On one half write what you have won from your novel, on another what you have got from break.

Weight Loss and Attitude

Weight loss specialists will tell you that attitude has a more powerful effect on losing weight than all other factors. The best plan out there won’t cut it, if you don’t follow it, and that can be a matter of attitude and motivation. Here are some tips to help you change your thinking and acting:

1. Never dwell on “failures.” Look at failures honestly, and then tell yourself, “This setback is temporary – here’s what I’ll do differently next time.”

2. Look at setbacks as opportunities. Problems and temporary failures provide a chance to learn how to do it better. Use them as steps towards success.

3. Think in terms of solutions, not problems. “I have such a hard time resisting temptation,” becomes, “When have I resisted, and what can I learn from that experience?” Reaching for the convenient junk food isn’t a problem, but a lesson: Don’t let it be convenient.

4. See success, both your own and other’s. Noticing even a little progress reminds you what is possible, and it keeps you motivated. This is a powerful way to stay on track. Little successes give the motivation for bigger ones.

5. Imagine yourself how you want to be. When you see yourself how you want to be repeatedly, this gets your subconscious mind working towards that image. Do this often.

6. Do something now. Action often precedes and stimulates attitude and motivation. Eat some healthy snacks, read a useful article, or get out and take a walk. Do anything, however small, towards your weight loss goals. Momentum is created by taking any step in the right direction.

Personal Injuries Resulting in Wrongful Death Cases

A wrongful death lawsuit alleges that the decedent was killed as a result of the negligence (or other liability) on the part of the defendant’s), and that the surviving dependents or beneficiaries are entitled to monetary damages as a result of the defendant’s conduct. Different states have their individual statutes that tackle the issues with regards to wrongful death. Moreover, many states do not follow the same guidelines when it comes to wrongful death cases.

As mentioned above, there is a variation in the laws enacted by each state pertaining to wrongful death. Two types of lawsuit are being adopted in hearing cases namely the “true” and the “survival acts.” Legalwolf.com offers this in-depth explanation of the two. Some states have “true” wrongful death acts in which the next of kin are entitled to bring a cause of action in their own names as a result of damages sustained following the decedent’s death. When a defendant is found legally liable for the death of another, the types of damages that may be recovered can also vary greatly. For example, the plaintiffs may be able to recover the costs of the deceased’s medical care and treatment related to the negligent conduct, the funeral expenses incurred for the deceased’s burial, the loss of future earnings of the deceased, the value of the loss of the deceased’s benefits (such as pension benefits or medical and health insurance coverage), the value of the loss of consortium, and general damages. Additionally, in a few states, the plaintiffs may be able to recover damages for pain and suffering or mental anguish that they experienced as a result of the death, as well as punitive damages.

• sign interpreting and language translation services, other than such services provided by a family member of the patient, related to the receipt of medical, surgical, x-ray, optical, dental, chiropractic, hospital, extended care, nursing, and rehabilitative services; and

• hospital, extended care, and nursing services. (Hospital room and board benefits may be limited, except for intensive care facilities, to the regular daily semiprivate room rates customarily charged by the institution in which the recipient of benefits is confined.)

• Benefits also include necessary remedial treatment and services recognized and permitted under the laws of this state for an injured person who relies upon spiritual means through prayer alone for healing in accordance with that person’s religious beliefs. * Medical expense loss includes medical expenses accrued prior to the death of a person notwithstanding the fact that benefits are paid or payable to the decedent’s survivors.

Before any wage loss claim will be paid by your insurer, you must provide:

• A doctor’s disability slip (permission to miss work) must be presented to your No-fault insurance adjuster in order for you to receive wage loss benefits, AND

• Proof of wage loss from your employer on a form available from your insurance adjuster.

2. Mileage claims under No Fault?

If you are injured, No Fault benefits will also repay you for any “reasonable” mileage expenses incurred for transportation to and from your medical provider

Seatbelts: a Life Saver or a Taker?

Seatbelts definitely save lives. Some of them have a locking feature which is truly amazing because you can pull it out all the way and let it pull back. You can also lock it and it’ll not slide out until it’s been pulled back all the way again. When you’re on a spirited drive, it’s good to have something to hold you into your seat as you take a tight turn at speed. Also, if you spend time cruising down the middle of the road, it’s better to have at least one seatbelt to comfort you.

When seatbelts were made mandatory, some people complained that its use increased the chances that you’d get hurt. As they said, when there would be a fire, you won’t get out in time. Others claimed that wearing seatbelts increased pedestrian fatalities because it made overconfident drivers to go faster. They really hated to wear them and only did it when the fines were large and frequent enough. Aside from being fined, drivers and passengers caught without seatbelts could also lose out in court in accident scenarios.

People add bifocals to their regular glasses to aid in reading, but for some people who do not normally wear glasses a bifocal lens may still be the answer. Full size reading glasses with a no line bifocal added to a non-prescription lens are a good choice for someone who has to see close-up and at a distance often. Reading glasses with no line bifocals help to reduce the fatigue of taking reading glasses on and off repetitively. They are also a plus for the person who doesn’t like the look of half size reading glasses, but still desires the convenience of being able to go from near to far easily.

The option of no line bifocal reading glasses is helpful for those who wear glasses for other vision issues as well as for those who do not usually wear glasses. The invisible line allows for a more natural line of vision and transition between reading and distance vision. No line bifocal reading glasses may be the answer you are looking for when reading starts to become difficult.

Gathering The Required Data For Your Personal Injury Case

Essentially, using an online form website in your divorce case means that you will represent yourself and act as your own lawyer. All of the online divorce form sites have disclaimers making it clear that they are not your lawyer and are just preparing documents on your behalf. While it is your constitutional right to act as your own lawyer, there are some significant risks involved that should be evaluated before you take the online route.

But when it comes to dividing any property beyond personal effects (clothes, furniture, etc.), it is risky to rely solely on generic divorce forms. If you or your spouse own real estate, vehicles, 401k accounts or other retirement accounts, or have any other financial assets or liabilities, an online divorce form will not necessarily protect your interests.

A competent divorce lawyer would be able to, first, analyze your situation and determine what property division is in your best interest, and second, ensure that all the assets awarded to you were properly transferred and the titles correctly recorded on your behalf.

Conclusion

Using an online divorce form always carries a certain amount of risk. If there are no children from the marriage and no property to divide, then saving a few hundred dollars may be worth the risk and the extra work you will have to do. But for most people, especially those with children or property, it is essential to hire an experienced divorce lawyer to handle their case.
