Westminster Park is close to The Nuffield Hospital and the Westminster Park Tennis Club. It has a wide variety of facilities and even has a shopping complex within it. Shops here include a Co-op, hairdressers, food takeaways, pharmacy, florist, off-licence and greengrocers.
There is plenty to do at Westminster Park with a children’s play area, tennis courts, bowling greens, cricket pitch, croquet lawn and a 9-hole municipal golf course.
There is a central building with refreshments available at the cafe as well as parking areas and changing facilities.
Westminster Park Golf Club is looked after by the Chester and District Sports and Recreation Trust (CADSART), a non-profit organisation who are also responsible for the facilities at the Northgate Arena, Christleton Sports Centre, Malpas Sports Centre and Woodford Lodge Sports Centre.
