This annual pilgrimage walk between two local sites of Viking heritage commemorates St Olav, patron saint of Norway.
The 13-mile walk will be accompanied by Stein Thue from Trondheim, where St Olav is buried.
Stein, who organises the famous St Olav pilgrimage in Norway, will explain the essentials of the pilgrimage along the way.
The walk will finish with a short ceremony outside St Olave’s Church in Chester.
