Come down to Weaver Hall Museum and meet some Roman Soldiers and find out about their life in the fort at Condate (Roman Northwich).
You’ll be able to try on helmets and shields, and make your own Roman standard to carry away.

Weaver Hall Museum is only open on Mondays during the School Holidays and Bank Holidays, excluding December, from 10.00am – 5.00pm.

Until May 2010, the Weaver Hall Museum and Workhouse was known as the Salt Museum.
The museum is housed within the old Northwich Union Workhouse building and has displays about the building’s history as a home for Victorian Paupers.
