The event (www.standon-calling.com) – now in its 10th year and held in the grounds of a 16th Century manor house, has become known as being streaks ahead of industry talent spotters ? having booked the likes of Florence and the Machine and Friendly Fires before they became household names ? and now offers the chance for new and unsigned acts to join the haunts of stars who launched their careers in the merry fields of Standon.
