Having been a leader in the water garden world since the gardens were opened in 1965, Stapeley Water Gardens has built itself a reputation for delivering a superb environment spotted with examples from simple water features to a grand tropical oasis.

 



What to See at Stapeley Water Gardens


Stapeley Water Gardens Garden CentreThe water gardens are broken down into different sections, these are:

Water Garden Centre
Palms Tropical Oasis
Fish and Pet Centre
Angling Centre
Camping and Outdoor Centre

The Water Garden Centre supplies everything a visitor would need to build their own water feature, and also shows them how to achieve this through practical shows and Stapeley’s very own water garden.

The Palms Tropical Oasis is where visitors can see dazzling tropical plantlife as well as examples of exotic wildlife such as a family of Meerkats, Poison Dart Frogs, Tarantula, Piranhas and a Caiman Crocodile!

The Fish and Pet Centre caters to all your home pet needs, from bedding to foodstuffs for small animals, dogs, cats and birds. There are also many types of birds on sale, as well as rabbits, hamsters and the like..

The Angling Centre is a huge 13,000 square foot mega store that many anglers would call heaven, with over 500 types of rods, poles and reels covering all types of fishing, and fishing shelters, chairs, clothing and more.

Stapeley Water Gardens also has a Camping and Outdoor Centre where you can purchase everything needed for a camping trip or outdoor expedition, with all major brands covered. As with all parts of the water gardens, there are plenty of experienced and friendly staff to help you make an informed decision!

Angling Centre

Wednesday 9.00am – 8.00pm
Sunday 10.00am – 5.00pm

How to Find Stapeley Water Gardens


By Car: you can find Stapeley Water Gardens just off junction 16 of the M6 where the Gardens are signposted.

By Rail: you can arrive at Crewe railway station and get a taxi from there, the taxi rank is outside the railway station and the Gardens are only four miles away.
