Chester Christmas light switch on – 12th November 2009

Chester Christmas starts officially on the 12th November! Get yourself in the Christmas mood with the great family Christmas event in Chester city centre.

The fun starts at around 3.30pm.

Meet Father Christmas and his reindeer, enjoy Christmas tunes and superb fireworks. The Chester Christmas Lights will be switched on by Chester’s Lord Mayer, Councillor Jim Latham,  at 6.30pm.

Roads will be closed for the occasion from 4.30pm up until 7.30pm so plan your evening transport ahead:

Northgate Street – from Princess Street (by barrier) to Eastgate Street
St Werburgh Street – complete length
Eastgate Street – complete length
Foregate Street – from Eastgate Street to St Johns Street
St Johns Street – complete length
