Chester Cheese Shop is just one of the many speciality shops in Chester although it is probably one of the most famous.
So what makes Chester Cheese Shop special?
Whilst only a small shop, the Chester Cheese shop can offer up to 200 different varieties of cheese.
The shop has been selling cheese in Chester for over twenty five years and for at least the last twenty years has been run by a lady called Carol Faulkner. Carol was no stranger to the retail business or, in fact, to the cheese making process. She is a farmer’s daughter and came to run the Chester Cheese Shop following owning her own restaurant.
One of the reasons she took on the challenge of being host to one of the most unique cheese shops in the country was that as a restauranteur she understood that finding good quality cheese could be a struggle.
With a huge range of British cheeses from areas such as Cheshire and Wales, the Cheese Shop also makes many international cheeses readily available in your local Chester city centre shopping area.
Can you only buy cheese at the Chester Cheese Shop?
Carol has extended the range available in the shop to offer a complete cheese experience. Select from the wonderful choice of cheeses and then develop your snack or dinner party with all the appropriate home-made chutneys, oils, pickles and pastas. Their superb selection of deli meats and cheeses can even be teamed with a bottle from their fine wines and champagne section.
On many occasions Carol will be available to help you match her products with delicious results.
Perfect for a luxurious picnic in the beautiful Cheshire countryside!
Wholesale purchases are available for restaurants, cafes and other catering businesses.
