It is definitely suitable for family members of all ages as there is so much to see and experience.
The Blue Planet Aquarium is laid out to ensure that you don’t miss any of their wonderful exhibits as it takes you around a pathway which goes through each section.
Inside the Blue Planet Aquarium you will learn about and see many of the species that live and thrive on the existence of coral reef at the ‘Reef Magic’ Exhibition. In the ‘Freshwater Rivers and Streams’ section you will see some of the largest freshwater fish that survive in freshwater environments right here in Britain. Watch out for the Pike which can grow up to 1.8 metres long!
Explore the fish of the Amazon, Lake Milawi and the Mangrove Swamps.
Of the main attractions at the Blue Planet Aquarium, which must not be missed, are the Aquatheatre and the Aquatunnel.
The Aquatunnel is a favourite. As you walk through the tunnel you will be surrounded by sharks, Rays and a huge array of stunning, beautiful tropical fish.
Get interactive at the Blue Planet Aquarium when you visit the ‘The Rocky Shore’ exhibition. Here you can investigate all the animals in the three rock pools including the brilliant Rays which will let you stroke them!
There is so much to learn, watch and experience here. Once your tour is over you can take away a souvenir of your family day out from the Blue Planet Aquarium shop.
