Chester Races Family Fun Day – Sunday 2nd August 2009

Gates open 10.30am.

The Chester Racecourse Family Fun Day is like no ordinary horse racing event! It is an opportunity to enjoy a family fun atmosphere and is definitely one of the best days out in Chester to be had all year.

Alongside the horse racing entertainment is laid on for a full day of excitement and pleasure. There will be face-painting, stilt walkers, live music and lots of activities for children.

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service will be in attendance with interactive displays and valuable advice about your safety.

The Family Fun Day at Chester Racecourse is an excellent way to experience the exhilaration of horse racing in a relaxed and family friendly environment.

The first horse race of the day, the EBF Maiden Stakes, starts at 2.20pm. The horse racing runs throughout the day with the last race, the Chester Cathedral Handicap Stakes starting at 5.05pm.

For those wishing to attend the Chester Races in style it is recommended that they buy tickets for the County Stand or Tattersalls Stand and Paddock.

Tickets for the Tattersalls Stand and Paddock are buy one get one free and cost £23 each.

Ticket prices range from £9 up to £34 and can be purchased from the Chester Racecourse Website.
