Chester Racecourse is all set to host their annual Midsummer Festival events on Friday 26th June with the Trafford Centre Midsummer Meeting and on Saturday 27th June with the first weekend race fixture of the year.
The Trafford Centre Midsummer meeting event starts off with the first of the evening’s six races beginning at 6.40pm. The final race will commence at 9.20pm. The Friday night Midsummer Meeting was only added to the Chester Racecourse Fixtures calendar last year and sees a welcome return to this year’s fixture list.
Tickets for the event range from £7 right up to £41 for the County Long Room.
The whole evening promises to be a jewel in the Chester racing calendar and it is being held by the Trafford Centre, Manchester in conjunction with Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
The weather looks set to be mostly fine for Saturday’s Midsummer Event at Chester Racecourse with only a few showers possible but it will be feeling warm at 23oC. The day kicks off with the Tessuti Woman Novice Stakes at 2.10pm. This is the first of the day’s six races with the final race of the day, the Cruise Nightclub Handicap Stakes, running at 5.05pm and holding £14,500 as one of the biggest prize pots of the day’s events.
Tickets for the event range from £9 up to £41 for the County Long Room.
